Camping in an RV

If you are new to RV camping, then you can probably use a few pointers to keep you from making serious mistakes on your first few outings. Read this guide and learn all you need to know to ensure the comfort and safety of your family and friends when you go RV camping.

Packing for your trip

A good way to pack for your trip is to gather all of your supplies by piling them together in a corner of a room. As you think of other items you want to take, toss them in the pile so you do not have to rush to gather necessary items at the last minute. Pack your supplies in totes that take up less room, and when you load the RV, place your heavier items on the bottom and then add your lightweight boxes.

Food supplies

If you plan to do a good bit of traveling on your first day out, then stock up on produce and pack frozen meals for this part of your journey so you can avoid having to make frequent stops to eat. You can also prepare and freeze meals in advance at home to keep you from having to spend hours cooking while you are on vacation. Make sure you bring essentials like tea, coffee, sugar, matches and bottled water.

Other essentials

Remember to pack your personal toiletries and kitchen essentials, such as serving spoons, barbecue supplies, plastic wrap, foil and disposable garbage bags.

Follow these simple tips to ensure your RV outing is an enjoyable and relaxing one. The most important thing for you to remember is to plan ahead and to bring everything you think you are going to need.
