Camping in a Cabin

Camping in a cabin might seem adventurous to those who love to spend time outdoors, yet daunting to others who would much prefer to spend the night in a hotel. Camping in a cabin is a good middle ground between sleeping in a tent and sleeping in a lodge. Those who choose to camp in a cabin are really getting the best of both words when it comes to spending time in nature, while still having some modern comforts.
What to pack
Camping in a cabin is a little different than camping in a tent, but it is still camping regardless. In order to prepare for camping in a cabin, you should bring all the essentials you would bring with you if you were planning on spending the night in a tent. Bring extra food to prepare in the more sanitary conditions of the cabin, and consider bringing more bedding to keep warm at night in case the cabin is a larger space and stays cooler longer than a tent.
Safety
When camping in a cabin, you should take careful note of the surrounding woods and the roads and trails leading to the cabin. Watch for trespassers on private property or for anybody who looks suspicious. You should also take care within the cabin with everyday household hazards such as fire hazards.
Camping in a cabin is significantly different from camping in a tent, but it can prove to be a new and exciting experience for most!
